The two most frequently asked questions in the period leading up to the launch were:
How much does it cost to travel with Arenaways? Traveling by train costs the same! On the Railway Lines of the Southern Basin, we operate local public transport that benefits from the mileage rates set by the Piedmont Region.
Can I use bus tickets to travel by train? Yes, we support the Region for maximum integration! On Arenaways trains, integrated fare tickets loaded onto BIP cards are accepted, just like on the vehicles of the Granda Bus Consortium.

The digital single ride ticket is personal, can be purchased up to 5 minutes before departure, does not need to be validated, and can be modified up to 1 hour before departure at no extra cost. Until December 31, however, it is also possible to access the next available train without requesting ticket changes, provided the conductor is informed immediately upon boarding.
The validity of the paper single ride ticket is 7 days and must be validated immediately on board.

Don’t want to worry about tickets? Finally, with Arenaways, the innovative FAIRTIQ ticketing system debuts in Italy: the app, available for free on Google Play and Apple App Store, allows you to travel at the cost of a single ride with a simple swipe on your phone when boarding the train.
Does the train from Saluzzo to Savigliano cost the same as the bus? Yes, the fare remains the same! Arenaways follows the fare structure set by the Piedmont Region, and both bus and train have the same price.
For those who want to travel exclusively on our services, the “train-only” subscriptions allow unlimited travel within the designated route. Always issued in digital format, they are available in Weekly (7 days), Monthly (30 days), and Annual (12 months) versions.
Integration is the key word for the Railway Lines of the Southern Basin! Holders of Piedmont Integrated Fare subscriptions (Weekly Integrated, Monthly Integrated, Annual Integrated, and 10-Month Student Integrated) can travel on Arenaways or with the bus services of the Granda Bus Consortium interchangeably and at no extra cost.
