Our fleet
The Arenaways fleet operating on the South Basin Railway Lines consists of three-car diesel-powered Pesa ATR 220 trains, recently built and customized in Arenaways style.
Equipped with Voith powerpack propulsion systems with a power output of 2 x 382 kW, these trains comply with the stringent EURO III standards, making them the most modern and eco-friendly diesel trains operating in Piedmont.
In the realm of regional public transport, the ATR 220 trains operated by Arenaways represent the state of the art in passenger comfort. The trains ensure full accessibility for PRMs, including a dedicated toilet, in compliance with TSI standards. All trains feature dedicated spaces for strollers and bicycles, a closed-circuit video surveillance system, and external displays showing the train's destination. Additionally, starting March 1, 2025, passengers will benefit from Arenaways Connette, an innovative WiFi and infotainment system available free of charge.
